It is an honor being inducted in Spring Valley John F. Kennedy Hall of Fame.  As siblings, it’s a privilege to be honored together.  We grew up in a loving and supportive family environment with parents who encouraged each of us to follow our dreams and never lose sight of them.  Our parents provided us with a solid foundation and beliefs that led us all on the path to healthcare.  We learned kindness, integrity, empathy and compassion from our mother, Rita Peterson. From our father, Bob Morrow Jr., we learned the importance of respect, hard work and dedication.  Although our parents divorced when we were young, we were fortunate to have our stepmother Carol Morrow and stepfather Glenn Peterson add to the richness of our life experiences.  They both demonstrated hard work, respect, responsibility and loving relationships that added greatly to our upbringing.  Growing up on Devlin Street in Spring Valley next to Kirby Park provided us with the opportunities to participate in many sporting activities and community events.  We enjoyed playing tennis, baseball, and softball on the Kirby fields.  We were active members of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Spring Valley, serving as altar boys and readers.  JFK laid the foundation for many other successful individuals that grew up in our neighborhood.
